The company reinforces its involvement with patients and research into nephrological pathologies through its participation in the activities promoted by the Spanish Society of Nephrology (SEN) for World Kidney Day.
On the occasion of World Kidney Day, around 50 Otsuka employees in Spain (between office and field staff) have joined an awareness initiative by participating in the 5th Solidarity Race ‘Move for kidney health’, organized by the Spanish Society of Nephrology (SEN).
The action, which combines health, awareness and teamwork, aims to raise awareness of the importance of renal function care and the impact of nephrological diseases on the population. Chronic kidney disease (CKD) affects one in seven adults in Spain, approximately 15% of the population, with more than 68,000 people undergoing dialysis or transplantation.
