JTB Meetings & Events has strengthened its corporate travel offering with new proposals aimed at companies and professionals interested in the Japanese business ecosystem, including specific initiatives for startups and projects linked to Japanese products.
As part of this strategy, the company is preparing an experiential trip focused on matcha and Japanese tea to coincide with the harvest season in May 2026. The 7-day program includes visits to plantations in Saitama and Shizuoka, tea picking experiences, as well as cultural activities in cities such as Tokyo, Kyoto and Nara.
The trip is aimed at profiles interested in business development around matcha, combining cultural immersion and opportunities to learn about the sector at origin.
With this initiative, JTB seeks to bring new business connection opportunities between Japan and the international arena, betting on more accessible and experiential formats.
Places are limited and the group is open to international participants.
