Esteves Group has inaugurated its new manufacturing plant, reinforcing its long-term commitment to the cable industry in Mexico, the United States and Central America. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Kazuo Yamagata, President of ALMT Corp, parent company of Esteves Group and part of the multinational group Sumitomo Electric Industries.
The new facility replaces the previous plant, also located in Santiago de Querétaro, which served the region for 30 years, and represents a strategic investment to increase production capacity, expand capabilities and strengthen customer support.
With a significant increase in capacity, the plant provides a solid platform to accompany market growth, ensuring tooling availability. It also incorporates repair services for large components for power cable production, expanding the company’s value offering.
In addition to strengthening manufacturing capabilities, the new plant boosts Esteves Mexico’s service model, helping to optimize tool performance and tool life through maintenance programs and local technical support.
This investment consolidates the group’s regional presence and responds to the needs of cable manufacturers in high-growth sectors such as automotive, electronics and energy infrastructure.
With this new plant, Esteves Group reaffirms its position as a close technical partner for the industry, combining precision tools, specialized services and local support in Mexico, the United States and Central America.
