日本・スペインビジネスサークル(CEJE)加盟パートナー、MACBAのガイド付きツアーの一環として、ギリシャ人彫刻家タキスによる展示を見学

On Thursday 6 February, a guided tour arranged by CEJE took place at the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art (MACBA), showcasing an exhibition of works by Greek sculptor Takis. Thanks to CEJE’s work with Cuatrecases and the MACBA Foundation, partners of the business circle were able to enjoy this travelling exhibition. The tour began with an introduction to the museum and to the exhibition itself from Cristina López, director of the MACBA Foundation, who accompanied the group during their visit.
During the guided tour, the more than 30 guests present learnt about the distinctive traits of the Athens-born sculptor who, between 1950 and 1970, honed his artistic pursuits in the cities of Paris, London and New York. Takis’ work focuses on exploring the power of magnetic fields, allowing him to incorporate elements such as movement, light or music through the use of magnets. In so doing, Takis is able to bring together the concepts of art and science.
