The Japan-Spain Business Circle (CEJE) participated this Thursday, April 9, in the plenary meeting of the Japan Plan Catalunya, held at the Palau de Pedralbes, as well as in the closing ceremony of the Catalonia-Japan Year. During the meeting, the heads of the different working groups presented the balance of the actions developed throughout 2025, as well as the proposals for the next year. Among the areas addressed, the groups of Business, Tourism, Universities and Research, Culture, as well as Health and Interior have been highlighted, reflecting the cross-cutting nature of the Japan Catalonia Plan.
CEJE has actively participated throughout the year in various initiatives promoted within the framework of this plan, especially in the business and cultural fields, contributing to the promotion of economic relations and exchange between the two countries.
The plenary session concluded with the intervention of the Minister of European Union and External Action, Jaume Duch, who highlighted the value of the joint work developed between institutions and entities, as well as the strategic importance of Japan as a key partner for Catalonia in the international arena.
