On Friday, 20 February 2026, a large delegation of CEJE members attended the celebration of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan’s birthday, organised by the Consulate General of Japan in Barcelona.
The reception was hosted by Akiko Shikata, Consul General of Japan in Barcelona, at her official residence and brought together representatives from the city’s institutional, business and cultural spheres.
The prominent presence of CEJE members at this event highlights our organisation’s active commitment to strengthening relations between Spain and Japan. Our participation in this type of event allows us to continue consolidating relations between the Japanese and Spanish business sectors and institutions, always seeking to generate new opportunities for collaboration.
