Last Wednesday, Proton Europe—a Japanese company and CEJE member specializing in advanced cellular cryopreservation solutions—presented its innovative technology developed in Japan to the Hon. Ms. Núria Montserrat, Minister of Research and Universities.
The meeting was attended by Proton Europe’s main representatives—President Mercè Manchón, CEO Manuel Ayllón, and Managing Director Europe Alejandro Ayllón—together with CEJE President Jorge Lasheras. They explained in detail how their technology preserves cellular structure intact, maintaining quality and properties, as well as its applications in biomedical and scientific research. Representing the Government of Catalonia, Director General Javier Selva also took part and highlighted the potential of this innovation for technological and scientific development in Catalonia.
The presentation highlights CEJE’s mission to give visibility to its members by promoting direct engagement with key institutions in Spain and fostering international collaboration.
Thanks to this initiative, Proton Europe is strengthening its presence in Europe, while CEJE continues to drive innovation and growth for its member companies in Spain.
