On October 29, CEJE participated in the presentation of the new strategy for attracting foreign investment 2026‑2030 promoted by the Generalitat de Catalunya, which aims to attract 6 billion euros in international investment over the next five years.
CEJE has supported, and will continue to support, the projection of Catalonia towards Japanese companies, with the aim of increasing their presence in the region. This implies not only facilitating the establishment of more Japanese companies in Catalonia, but also promoting strategic collaborations, attracting investments in key sectors, and fostering joint technological projects.
The strategy of the Generalitat prioritizes strategic sectors such as advanced industry, digital technologies, health, and sustainability, as well as key international markets, including Japan. CEJE’s participation in this process reinforces its role as a bridge between Catalonia and Japanese companies, promoting solid and sustainable commercial relations that strengthen the Catalan economy.
With this action, CEJE continues to support the internationalization of Catalonia, promoting the arrival of quality foreign investment and the strengthening of economic ties with Japan.
