Japan starts its vaccination campaign

Japan began to administer the covid-19 vaccine this Wednesday in a first phase in which it hopes to inoculate 40,000 health workers in order to immunize its entire population in a year and without the Olympic Games being at the moment going to condition its calendar of vaccination.

The first doses of the vaccine developed by Pfizer, the only one so far approved in Japan, were administered at the Tokyo Medical Center of the National Hospital Organization, in the Meguro district, with the idea of expanding the vaccination to a hundred from health centers across the country next week.
