The Japanese company Orix Corporation announced the agreement to acquire an additional 20% stake in Elawan Energy, after which Elawan will be 100% owned by Orix. Once the transaction, scheduled for early 2023, is completed, Elawan will continue to be led by its founder and CEO, Dionisio Fernández.
Headquartered in Spain, Elawan operates in 14 countries around the world, mainly Europe and America. It has more than 1,290 MW of operational projects and approximately 7.3 GV of projects under construction or under development.
