Yukimasa Ida, the first artist from Asia to exhibit at Picasso’s Birthplace

‘Yukimasa Ida visit Pablo Picasso’ is the new temporary exhibition of the Casa Natal Museum in Malaga that can be visited until October 2nd, 2022. Through it, he proposes a review of the works of Pablo Picasso and different versions of the Malaga painter and his main iconographic themes.

The exhibition consists of 43 pieces, including canvases (30), drawings (4) and sculptures (9), accompanied by four lithographs by Picasso from the collection of the Casa Natal. In the tour of the exhibition, you can see canvases such as Mask (2021), in which the artist faces the enigma of identity through a game, as Picasso already did in the figures represented with masks and in the conception of himself as a multifaceted minotaur.
