The Spanish-Japanese company Univergy Solar announced the award of four solar projects in Japan. The projects, which add up to a total capacity of 12.6 MW, were awarded to the company in the sixth public auction carried out by the Government of Japan.
Of note is the floating solar park, in Kagawa Mikicho prefecture, with a capacity of 7.8 MW, which will enter its final stage of development. On the other hand, Univergy Solar has been awarded two other projects in the Tohoku region, in the northern part of Japan. One is located in Fukushima Koriyama prefecture, with a capacity of 651 kilowatts (KW), and the other, in Miyagi Shibata prefecture with a capacity of 1.2 MW. Finally, the fourth project is located in Kagoshima Satsuma Sendai prefecture with a capacity of 3 MW.
