Welcome lunch for the Consul General of Japan in Barcelona, ​​Ms. Akiko Shikata

The Japan-Spain Business Circle (CEJE) held a welcome dinner for the Consul General of Japan in Barcelona, ​​Ms. Akiko Shikata, on April 25 at the Círculo Ecuestre de Barcelona. During the reception cocktail, CEJE members had the opportunity to talk and introduce themselves to the Consul General.

At the start of the meal, the President of CEJE, Jorge Lasheras, welcomed Ms. Akiko Shikato and thanked her for her presence at this meeting with the Japanese and Spanish companies attending the event. He also praised the fact that Ms. Akiko Shikato was the first woman to hold the position of Consul General of Japan in Barcelona.

Next, Ms. Akiko Shikato, Consul General of Japan in Barcelona, ​​emphasized her desire to “maintain relations with the Japan Business Circle”. She also gave a speech on bilateral relations between Spain and Japan and on the importance of maintaining these ties, thanks to a long history of cooperation and diplomatic relations.
