The Ambassador of Japan visits the University of Valladolid

The Ambassador of Japan to Spain, Takahiro Nakamae, made his first academic visit in Spain to the University of Valladolid. The Ambassador had already been to this University in 1986, while studying a Spanish course for foreigners. During his visit to the UVa Takamiro Nakamae met with the Vice Rector for Internationalization, Paloma Castro, and later toured the facilities of the Colegio Mayor Santa Cruz, where he lived 37 years ago. Later he went to the Faculty of Commerce to give, in his first academic visit to Spain, the conference “The role of Japan in Trade and International Relations”. This conference was part of the program of the conference organized on Japan by the Center for Asian Studies of the UVa.
