Success at the round table discussion on “Japan: An attractive market”
The Japan-Spain Business Circle (CEJE) and Foment del Treball [Job Development Organization] held a round table discussion on September 29 on the topic of “Japan: An attractive market.” The event unveiled the various forms of support offered to address entry into the Japanese market, through the practical experiences of several prestigious companies.
CEJE president Jorge Lasheras and the president of Foment’s International Relations Commission, Joan Canals, led the well-attended event. A number of business people and institutional representatives with experience in the Japanese market participated in the round table discussion: Mr. Kentaro Naruse, Director General of JETRO, Mr. Antonio Estevez, Director General of ICEX, Ms. Empar Macia, Manager of Foreign and International Programs of Asia-Pacific in Action, Mr. Albert Rius, CEO of Cacao Sampaka, Mr. Josep Lluís Bonet, President of Freixenet, Mr. Pere Ballart, Director of International Affairs of Fluidra and Mr. Carles Carreras, CEO of Frigoríficos Costa Brava. At the end of the meeting, a colloquium was held involving all attendees.
