Ricoh presents the recent acquisition of PFU and its new Hyperatumation Factory for all of Europe

The Círculo Empresarial Japón España has promoted the event where Ricoh has presented the recent acquisition of PFU and its new Hyperatumation Factory for all of Europe. The company has acquired Fujitsu’s PFU Unlimited with the aim of expanding the portfolio of digital services and offering its customers a comprehensive experience to optimize their workflows and process automation.

The act was held at the residence of the Ambassador of Japan in Madrid, Mr. Takahiro Nakamae, where the Círculo Empresarial Japón Españawas represented by its president Jorge Lasheras.

The event began with the welcome of the Japanese Ambassador to the attendees, and he stressed the importance of the union of two Japanese companies, such as Fujitsu and Ricoh, to take a giant step in the field of digitization and hyperautomation. Next, the CEO of Ricoh Spain and Portugal, Ramón Martín, highlighted Spain’s leadership in hyperautomation, an area that he believes will be “relaunched” thanks to the use of AI and programs such as ChatGPT.

For her part, Anna Vázquez, director of digital services and solutions at Ricoh Spain and Portugal, shared the company’s strategy aimed at sustainability through digitization, one of the main pillars to take into account in the future and one of the the main reasons for the company’s activities.

The acquisition and the new Factory reinforce Ricoh’s leadership position as a technology integrator and its commitment to Spain as a base to offer services throughout Europe. The technology company is headquartered in Japan and operates in more than 200 countries and regions.
