Nippon Gases publishes its 2023 Sustainability Report

Nippon Gases, the European subsidiary of Nippon Sanso Holdings Corporation, has published its Sustainability Report for the fiscal year ending March 2023. Verified by Ernst & Young, this report describes the impact your company has had on the environment and the communities in which it operates, in compliance with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The report published today shares the company’s commitment and continued progress in its sustainability priority areas, including resource optimization, energy efficiency, water use, waste management, greenhouse gas emissions reduction (validated and verified by an accredited consultant) and sustainable technology solutions for customers. Its content is in line with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive and reinforces its commitment to a carbon-neutral world.

Although the effects of the global pandemic have begun to dissipate, the geopolitical and socioeconomic climate remains uncertain. “Despite these challenges, many of them unexpected, we have demonstrated our resilience and have adapted our decisions and strategy to continue to deliver for our stakeholders,” says Eduardo Gil, President of Nippon Gases.
