New CEJE Board of Directors approved at the VI Ordinary General Assembly of the association

Last Thursday, January 23, the Japan Spain Business Circle organized the VI Ordinary General Assembly in Foment del Treball, in order to approve the economic closure of 2019, the new Board of Directors and the 2020 budget plan.

The Assembly approved the annual accounts of the association, corresponding to the year 2019, as well as the formation of the new Board of Directors made up of twelve members. In addition, during the course of the Assembly, the plan of activities and the different initiatives that will be addressed during this year were discussed, and the budget for 2020 was approved, on the one hand, and the action plan for the entire year was outlined.

The new Board of Directors, which will be chaired by Mr. Jorge Lasheras, will have two vice-presidencies, the 1st by Mr. Félix Hazen, General Director of Yamaha Music Europe, and the 2nd by Mrs. Celia Muñoz Espín, Director of Sales from EMEA to the US, Asia from IBERIA. In the role of Treasurer, CEJE will continue to have the experience of Hebron, while the secretariat passes to Ms. Susana Serra, Partner of Everis. The members of the Board of Directors for this exercise will be: Mr. Jaume Gotanegra, Head of Sales Operations at RICOH; Mrs. Mª Ángeles Juan, Vice President of JJUAN; Mr. Yoshiyuki Matsuoka, Director of Shinto Tsushin; Mr. Mirko Scaletti, General Director of Panasonic Iberia; Mr. Chicara Suzuki, Acting General Manager of Barcelona Branch at Nikken Sekkei; Mr. Joaquin Uriach, President of URIACH; and Mr. Oscar Visuña, Commercial Director of Epson Iberia.

Once the Assembly was over, the attendees had the opportunity to share an exclusive cocktail and dinner, with the presence of Mr. Manel Pérez, journalist specialized in economic information and deputy director of La Vanguardia, who attended as a special guest and analyzed the current economic environment and the possible effects derived from the formation of the new Spanish government.
