Jorge Lasheras, president of CEJE, gives a lecture at Spinreact on the differences between Japanese and Spanish business culture

On Wednesday, October 19th, Jorge Lasheras, President of the Japan-Spain Business Circle, held a conference at the Spinreact facilities, aimed at a large representation of the company’s staff and management. The objective of the conference was to explain the differences in business culture between Spain and Japan and to discuss with the management team of Spinreact, the process of introducing Japanese management techniques in the administration and management of Spanish factories.

With his experience of more than 30 years in senior management positions at Yamaha Motor, Mr. Lasheras was able to illustrate his lecture with his own experiences, providing valuable advice on Japanese corporate culture. This learning is key for Spinreact, since it is a company in which Japanese and Spanish professionals work together every day, to improve people’s health.

Spinreact is a Spanish company dedicated to the development, production and marketing of clinical diagnostic reagents. Since its foundation in 1975, it has focused its efforts on offering a quality product and maintaining a close and effective relationship with its distributors, making its slogan ‘we continue to grow together’ its work philosophy. They manufacture all their products in the production plant of Sant Esteve de Bas, Girona (Spain). The important Japanese group TOYOBO acquired it in 2013, and since then the company has not stopped developing, currently exporting to more than 130 countries.
