Japan breaks internet speed record: 10,000 HD movies downloaded in one second

Japan’s National Institute of Information and Communication Technology (NICT) set an internet speed record. The scientists managed to transfer data at 319Tbps. This mark that far exceeds the 178Tbps established a year ago by engineers from the same country and the United Kingdom.
