This week, Jorge Lasheras, president of the Japan Spain Business Circle, welcomed CEJE’s new corporate partner – Yaskawa Ibérica. In this meeting, Mr. Lasheras had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Laurent Bodin, Managing Director of Yaskawa Ibérica, to discuss the company’s objectives for this 2023, and learn about its most innovative solutions for robotization and industrial automation. Jorge Lasheras also visited the company’s new industrial facilities in Viladecans, which are under construction.
Yaskawa Ibérica is a company that has more than 30 years of experience as an efficient supplier in various industrial fabrics. In the Iberian Peninsula, Yaskawa will soon open the headquarters in Viladecans (Barcelona), which have more than 3,500 m2, including a Showroom and the Yaskawa Academy, the center where training is given about each product. All its team will operate in 2023 in this headquarters, integrating the divisions of Robotics and Drives, Motion & Control.
Recently, Yaskawa Ibérica has expanded commercially by opening new offices in key points of the Spanish geography: Basque Country, Madrid and Valencia. The new delegations are also part of the company’s strategy to consolidate synergies between its two divisions: Robotics and Drives, Motion & Control. Following these lines, the new delegations, which join the offices of the headquarters in Barcelona, are prepared at a commercial level to support both business units.
