Círculo Empresarial Japón España welcomes its new corporate partner Yamaha Motor Europe NV, Branch office in Spain

Yamaha Motor Company is a Japanese multinational that designs, produces and sells motorcycles as well as other major products. The company was founded in 1955 by Genichi Kawakami and is headquartered in Iwata, Shizuoka, Japan.

The company produces a wide range of motorcycles, scooters, and electric bicycles. It also produces marine products, such as outboard motors and boats, as well as snowmobiles, all-terrain vehicles, golf carts, water pumps, generators, and industrial robots.

Yamaha Motor is known for its high-performance motorcycles, with which it has won numerous competitions, including MotoGP, or World Superbike.

In 2022 Yamaha Motor Company had over 52,500 employees worldwide, with operations in more than 200 countries, and achieved worldwide net sales of 2.25 trillion yen (approximately 17.1 billion US dollars).

The company plans to implement its growth strategies, and promote solutions based on its own historical values to respond to social issues, through its Vision with a 2030 horizon that defines it as The ART for Human Possibilities.

This vision contains three areas of focus: advancing robotics with the use of smart technologies; rethinking current product solutions by addressing social issues, through initiatives true to Yamaha’s Unique Style; and finally, promoting initiatives that transform mobility in cities.

As an example, and focusing on the latter area: Yamaha will introduce to the market a complete line of pedal-assisted e-bikes for both recreational and urban use. A further step towards the mobility of the future with the use of innovative technologies.
