In this interview we talk with Isabel Sánchez CEO at Delaviuda Confectionery Group
Delaviuda Confectionery Group is a family-owned company with 100% Spanish capital, specialising in the food sector and a leader in the production of nougat, confectionery, bars and chocolates. Its products are sold in more than 70 countries under two of its most representative brands. With a history dedicated to the production of nougat, traditional pastries, chocolates and bars, the company distributes its products in the mass market through the Delaviuda and El Almendro brands, and in the retail sector with Cacao Sampaka.
The company is currently undergoing a transformation process, focusing its strategy on three key pillars: internationalisation, deseasonalisation and innovation. These challenges, enhanced by digitalisation and people-oriented management, seek to ensure sustained growth for the Group. Innovation has become one of the fundamental axes of its business strategy, maintaining a balance between artisanal tradition and the incorporation of advanced technologies in manufacturing, which allows them to offer increasingly innovative products.
