CEJE brings together its members in its 8th Ordinary General Assembly

On Tuesday, March 29th, Circulo Empresarial Japón-España held, for the eighth year, its Ordinary General Assembly, this time at the facilities of the Círculo Ecuestre of Barcelona. The event began with a welcome cocktail, where CEJE members were able to meet again personally, after the hiatus caused by the pandemic.

The General Assembly was attended by the representatives of the Board of Directors who made the presentations, namely: Mr. Jorge Lasheras, President of CEJE, Mr. Félix Hazen, Vice President of CEJE, Mr. Marc Monnin, Treasurer of CEJE and Ms. Susana Serra, Secretary of the Association. We also highlight the presence, as a special guest, of Mr. Hitoshi Kawazoe, Deputy Consul General of Japan in Barcelona.

At the event, the closing of the 2021 financial year was presented and approved, as well as the activity plan for 2022 and the budget proposal for this year. Mr. Lasheras also explained CEJE’s initiative of collaboration with several Spanish universities to promote employment opportunities between CEJE companies, and Japanese students or Spanish students with a high level of Japanese, residing in Spain.

The incorporation of Mr. Alessio Caputo as JJuan’s representative on the Board of Directors of CEJE was announced, the entry of Fides Electrónica was approved, as a new member of the Board of Directors, represented by Ms. Ma Angeles Juan, president of said company.

After a brief question session and the unanimous approval of the assembly summary, and to close the event, Mr. Hitoshi Kawazoe spoke a few words in which he thanked the President for the invitation, congratulated the association for the work it does, and reaffirmed the consulate’s commitment to collaboration with CEJE.

Later all the participants enjoyed a magnificent dinner at the Círculo Ecuestre of Barcelona.
