CEJE attends the tea ceremony and Bizen pottery exhibition at the residence of the Consul

On Monday 12 November, a tea ceremony demonstration and an exhibition of Bizen pottery were held at the official residence of the Consul General of Japan in Barcelona. The event, part of the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Spain, was organised by the President of the Franco-Japanese Association for the Tea Ceremony, Soyu Mori, and the Vice President of the same association and master potter, Tozan Kimura; it also saw the participation of the Chairman of CEJE, Jorge Lasheras.

The guests, representatives from different local institutions, companies and tea ceremony associations, were able to taste matcha tea and a traditional sweet, observe the Bizen pottery and chat with the two Japanese experts.
