The Japan-Spain Business Circle participates in Japan Day, Hispack 2024
On May 9th, the Japan Day celebration was held at the Fira de Barcelona, organized by Hispack, the main event in the packaging sector in Spain and one of the most important in Europe.
The president of CEJE, Mr. Lasheras, gave a presentation followed by a networking cocktail dedicated to Japan Day. The objective was to bring together the needs of the industry in the Japanese and Spanish markets. During his speech, he highlighted the growing interest in sustainability in the packaging field at a global level, as well as the opportunity to exchange knowledge between different regions of the world, both from Japan to Europe and from Europe to Japan.
In addition, bilateral opportunities between Spain and Japan were detailed, both for Japanese companies wishing to establish themselves in Spain and for Spanish companies seeking to internationalize in Japan. Finally, the role of CEJE in this context of opportunity was highlighted, as well as the experience of successful Japanese companies with a long history in Spain, with the aim of continuing to expand the Japan-Spain business circle.
During the morning of Japan Day, a program with different contents was held, in which invited companies from Japan presented innovative projects from the industry.
