AGC Pharma Chemicals has just announced a $100 million investment in its plant in Malgrat de Mar, Barcelona.
With this investment, the company, which has offices in Spain and Japan, will increase its production capacity by 3% and create 100 new jobs until the first half of 2024.
AGC Pharma Chemicals manufactures small molecule active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and intermediates in Catalonia. With this investment, it will reach a constructed area of 7,500 square meters in its facilities. The company plans new investments in the plant.
