Siemens Gamesa will supply 112 MW to the Japanese energy company Green Power Investment for the Ishikari offshore park. This key project marks the first firm offshore order for Siemens Gamesa in Japan.
The park will be located about five kilometers off the coast of Ishikari Bay, on the island of Hokkaido. It will have 14 SG 8.0-167 DD wind turbines, each with a capacity of 8 MW and a rotor of 167 meters, and its installation will begin in July 2023. In addition, Siemens Gamesa will be in charge of its maintenance for 15 years.
