イベリア航空はエアヨーロッパを購入した後、艦隊を拡大し、アジアとの接続性の向上を優先します

Iberia plans to expand the total fleet with which it will operate after the purchase of Air Europa, which it expects to have closed in the second half of this year. The CEO of the company, Javier Sánchez-Prieto, has stated that, unlike what happens in other sectors, such as banking – dismissals and office closures – the acquisition will not imply, a priori, or cut staff or decrease in capacity. “If Air Europa has 40 airplanes and we have about 100, the idea is that in the future we will have 160 or 170 airplanes, more than the sum of the two; it is a bet to reinforce the Barajas hub,” he stated in Fitur.
