The pharmaceutical company Uriach continues with its international expansion plans and has announced the purchase of Sidroga, a German laboratory specialized in natural food supplements. With this acquisition, the Catalan multinational reinforces its growth and international diversification strategy in products in the consumer health area.
The Uriach family business thus expands its presence in Europe, where it already operated in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Romania and Greece. “This is an important step in our expansion strategy,” explained Uriach CEO Oriol Segarra, adding that this transaction makes the pharmaceutical company one of the European leaders in the consumer health sector.
