This variety of Spanish strawberries sells for 60 euros a dozen in Japan

The famous white strawberry grown in Huelva, specifically in the municipality of Lepe, has surprised many national and international consumers for its peculiar and intense flavor.

In the Japanese country it is called ‘shiroi houseki’, which would mean something similar to ‘white jewel’, and they are really exotic. They have become a sought-after food in the Asian country, since their price can reach 60 euros for a dozen strawberries.
