Mr. Fidel Sendagorta joins his new position in Tokyo.
CEJE congratulates Mr. Fidel Sendagorta, as he joins his new diplomatic responsibility, as Ambassador of Spain in Japan.
At the same time, we are pleased to welcome him as an Honorary Member of CEJE, signing the continuous collaboration that CEJE has always had with the Embassy of Spain in Japan.
Mr. Sendagorta holds a law degree and entered the diplomatic career in 1984. Since then, he has been assigned to the embassies of Japan, Cuba and Morocco, as well as to the Permanent Representation to the European Union, in addition to being ambassador to Egypt between 2010 and 2014.
At the Ministry of AA.EE., he has been Director for the Mediterranean, Maghreb and the Middle East, Director for North America, Asia and the Pacific and Director for Foreign Policy and Security. In addition, he has been ambassador on special mission for Mediterranean affairs and secretary general of the Spain-United States Council Foundation.
