GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group company and Digital Engineering leader, has announced plans to open new engineering centers throughout Spain. The announcement was made by Nitesh Banga, president and CEO of GlobalLogic, during a meeting with Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez. For its operations in Spain, GlobalLogic is considering several target cities, such as Valencia and Malaga, for a launch in 2023, with Madrid and Tarragona on the long-term roadmap.
The company will seek to hire architects and software engineers, designers, data scientists and other highly skilled professionals. The goal is to employ between 2,500 and 3,000 professionals in the next 3 years through local recruitment and potential acquisitions.
