Tunateca S.L., belonging to Grupo Balfegó and a company specializing in the fishing and trade of bluefin tuna, has become a corporate partner of CEJE with the aim of strengthening the economic and cultural ties between the business ecosystems of Japan and Spain.
Tunateca Balfegó Espai Gastronòmic in Barcelona (Diagonal-Muntaner), is the first space in the world dedicated exclusively to bluefin tuna. The premises, measuring over 300 square meters, offers visitors the chance to taste this product, alongside culture and information relating to this species. It also provides the background to Grupo Balfegó and its sustainable vision for this fishery, which it has run for five generations.
