The Japan-Spain Business Circle (CEJE) and Casa Asia will hold a conference on Monday, January 12, 2026, by the Ambassador of Spain to Japan, Mr. Íñigo de Palacio España, who will analyze the challenges and opportunities presented by the new geopolitical scenario in Asia.
Under the title “How Geopolitics and Innovation Redefine Business Opportunities in Japan”, the session will address the transformations that are shaping the economic and technological environment in Japan, as well as the prospects that this context opens up for Spanish companies. The conference will also highlight the key role of technological innovation in cooperation between Japan, Spain, and Catalonia.
The event, which will begin at 11.30 am, will take place at the Center for Contemporary Culture of Barcelona (CCCB), (Carrer de Montalegre, 5), and will feature an agenda that will include a networking coffee, the Ambassador’s speech, a Q&A session, and the closing of the meeting.
