CEJE participates in the seminar ‘A New Era of Economic Exchange between Catalonia and Japan’.

On Tuesday 13 May 2025, the seminar ‘A New Era of Economic Exchange between Catalonia and Japan’ was held at the Palau Robert in Barcelona, organised by the Consulate General of Japan in Barcelona and ACCIÓ, with the collaboration of leading institutions, including the Círculo Empresarial Japón España (CEJE).

The event was part of the activities of the Japan-Catalonia Year and was attended by several CEJE member companies, as well as the president, Jorge Lasheras.

During the seminar, key issues were addressed, such as:

– The current panorama of business environments in Catalonia and Japan.

– Success stories of companies operating in both territories.

– New opportunities for collaboration between the industrial and academic spheres of both countries.

The event ended with a networking cocktail that allowed for closer ties between institutional and business representatives from Japan and Catalonia.
