FANUC Corporation has been recognized as one of the “Top 100 Global Innovators 2026” by Clarivate Plc<\/strong>, a leading global provider of transformative intelligence. This is the seventh time and fifth consecutive year that FANUC has appeared on the list. <\/p>\n\n

Clarivate identifies and ranks the world’s 100 most innovative corporations and institutions each year using a proprietary evaluation method based on proprietary data. In the selection process, AI technology is rapidly gaining critical importance for innovation, and the companies included this year are said to account for 16% of AI-related inventions. <\/p>\n\n

FANUC has focused on its specialty area, industrial automation, and has actively invested in research and development, aiming to create highly competitive products and bring them to market. To differentiate their products, they have driven a worldwide patent strategy, working to enhance corporate value by building and strengthening an intellectual property portfolio with global competitiveness. <\/p>\n\n

In recent years, FANUC has placed special focus on AI technology to drive innovation in manufacturing environments. In addition to research and development of these technologies, we have registered a large number of AI-related patents in a wide variety of fields, such as numerical control devices and robot control. According to a survey conducted last year by the Japan Patent Office, FANUC ranked 18th in Japan in AI-related patent applications. <\/p>\n\n

FANUC considers this recognition as the result of an objective assessment of our technological innovation capability and intellectual property strategy.
