The trade deficit reached 3,263 million euros in the first quarter of the year, representing a decrease of 57.4% year-on-year due to the advance in exports. The decrease in the trade deficit until March is due to the 4.9% increase in exports, to 72,308 million, while imports fell 1.3%, to 75,571 million euros, according to the data published today by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism.
